Having lived close to Portaferry for 24 years, I have enjoyed the variety of buildings that form the shore road. Not only are they of interest when walking, often from the ferry terminal, but also, the frontage impresses the visitor travelling by ferry from Strangford.

I decided to undertake a personal project documenting, with pen and water colour, this entire frontage. The images here give some idea of the nature of my work. 

They will be shown in sequence in my enormous living room (transformed into a gallery). With a private viewing on the evening of Saturday 3 December, with the exhibition opening to the public on Monday 5 December.
